Membership
Membership in the Mississippi Bail Agents Association is open to any person or business associated with the bail bonding industry who express a desire to help promote professionalism within the industry and who are approved by a majority of the Board of Directors.
Any applicant who desires to make application for membership can do so by submitting a request to the President or Secretary of the MBAA. All applications must be on filed with the MBAA at least thirty (30) days prior to the Board of Directors approval of admission.
Sponsorship for Voting Membership
As an incentive for bringing in voting members to the MS Bail Agents Association. Each voting member, as of August 1, 2008, will receive $20.00 credit toward their 2009 voting membership renewal for each new voting member they sponsor. Maximun of five "5" new members per sponsor. Membership applications now include a space to list the sponsors name. Credit will be given July 2009.
Classes of Membership
Individual Membership
Fee $100.00 entitles member to one vote and full membership privileges.
General Agency Membership
Fee $500.00 entitles company to name one voting members and to name four associate members. Each associate member may upgrade to voting status by paying an additional $100.00 during fiscal year.
Insurance Company Membership
Fee $1,000.00 entitles company to name one voting members and to name six associate members. Each associate member may upgrade to voting status by paying an additional $100.00 during fiscal year.
