We are posting the schedule for the 2010 Continuing Education Classes!!!
The posted dates are in place while the places are still being worked out.
Please be sure to read all posting here and any mailers that we send to you. There will be some things and procedures you need to be made aware of, that if not followed will prevent you from getting your certificate. These procedures will be posted on this website and on your Continuing Education application!
Understand these are not OUR stipulations but rather those of the Mississippi Department of Insurance.

NEW INCENTIVES
General Membership Conference Attendance
1. If you attend all three General Assembly Conferences each License year (October, January and July), pay a one-time a year registration fee of $50.00 and are a voting member this will count as your continuing education for that year. For example: if you attend the October 2009, January & July 2010 general assembly conferences, a long with the (one-time a year) $50.00 registration and are a voting member you will not have to attend the continuing education class in 2010. By completing all the requirements above, you will have earned your continuing education credit and will receive a certificate for 2010 license year.
NOTE: A license year is from October 1 to September 30. Thus the Conferences are October, January, & July.
On the Continuing Education registration form it will ask for your age, date of birth, bail license number and years in business. You must fill in all this information, it is very important. You have to send in a registration form EVERY year along with your $150.00. If you do not do this then you will not receive credit.
